Project title: A set of autonomous anticipation robots for strawberry harvesting

Project goal:
The project aims to design and construct a set of autonomous mobile robots capable of efficiently harvesting strawberries in gutter crops. The project will implement several highly innovative solutions that go far beyond the existing robotic systems for fruit harvesting.

Planned effects

The primary effect of the project is a set of 4 robots for harvesting strawberries. Its implementation in the strawberry growing process will improve the efficiency of fruit harvesting and use while saving electricity.

The "strawberry harvest efficiency" indicator obtained under the project will illustrate the higher efficiency of strawberry cultivation by simultaneously increasing the amount of fruit harvested.

The robots will harvest strawberry fruit without damaging it, which translates into a reduction in the amount of waste generated during the harvesting process.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Programme.
